Timbrel Vaulting investigates the architectural and structural potential of thin-tile masonry vaulting through research, experimentation, and fabrication. Drawing from historic Catalan vaulting techniques while exploring contemporary methods of construction, the studio examines how lightweight masonry assemblies can create efficient, expressive, and materially rich structural systems.
